Hi guys,

As some of you already know, there's currently a war going on in Kryta as a part of Guild Wars Beyond, content to bridge the gap between Guildwars and Guildwars 2.  The White Mantle are causing havoc in Kryta while the Shining Blade mounts a resistance under the leadership of Princess Salma.  Similar to the Zaishen Bounties, each day the shining blade have a "wanted" white mantle boss that you can kill in normal or hard mode for a reward.  In order to see the bounties, you need access to Lion's Arch Keep.  Since the process is a bit long, I thought I'd share some instructions here for you.

1.  You must own EotN and Prophecies, and the character must have completed one of the two.  If you completed prophecies but not EotN, you must have done the MOX quests.

2.  Go outside Vlox's Falls into Arbor Bay.  Talk to the Asura Chark and witness the Trial of Zinn.

3. Travel to the Shining Blade Camp in Talmark Wilderness.  It is in the Southwest, separated from the rest of the zone by a pair of bridges.  The fastest way is to leave from ToA.  Here you will hear a dialog.  When it is over, exit into Tears of the Fallen (at the south of the camp is a portal) and then return to the camp again to hear the next one.  Do it once more until you have seen the conversation with Livia and Zinn present.

4.  Now you can access Lion's Arch Keep by going near the fountain in LA and talking to Lion's Arch Keep Gate Guard.   This is where you'll find the bounties, on the wanted sign.

5.  To further progress the storyline, you must visit Gwen in the Hall of Monuments and listen to many dialogs between her and Thackeray.  Eventually, Thackeray will be just outside the eye in ice cliff chasms asking for some items, which you should bring him.  Afterwards, there is another conversation in the Hall of Monuments, then one more in Ice Cliff Chasms.  This currently only unlocks more dialog though, no nifty rewards here.

There are also a number of green weapons and minipets being dropped randomly by white mantle in the region.  So I encourage everyone who gets the chance to check it out!

Thanks Chiuna - finally a good reason for me to get going again.  I have finished both the campaigns but I don't think I have done ALL of the MOX quests.  How long would it take to do them and is that something people would be willing to help with... finish off the MOX quests that is.

Hope to work with you in the War stuff - maybe see you this weekend we are not going anywhere for Memorial Day.

If you finished both campaigns, you don't need to do the MOX quests to see the war.  But they shouldn't take too long if you just wanted to do them anyway, maybe half an hour each?  Its been a while since I did them, I must admit!

I just got Red Dead Redemption, so currently guildwars is fighting with my urge to ride around the countryside on horseback, but I should still be around a good amount this weekend!  Hope to see you! Smiley
